Paris Haute

I hate to say this, but haute couture collection John Galliano for Christian Dior are a little repetitive in recent years. The clothes are always beautiful and fit beautifully, of course, but I left the last collection sure if I see something particularly interesting or memorable. Well. This definitely was a problem I had with Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall / Winter 2010.

Perhaps a result of the clear inspiration for the collection, but these totally gorgeous, pitch-perfect flowers on the dresses would not leave my head anytime soon. The collection is expansive, dynamic and daring still maintaining an obvious femininity and softness, which is a combination of features makes for very modern romantic dressing. Haute couture may be away for almost everyone, but here’s hoping that this aesthetic filters down the ranks of fashion for the rest of us very quickly. The best performance after the jump.

McQueen may be gone

I am very relieved that Alexander McQueen (the brand) will continue to operate after the death of Alexander McQueen (man). He was a visionary, and legacy, it should be continued immediately after his death. By all indications, McQueen clothing and accessories that we see in the near future, owe a considerable debt to the beauty of its founder, just as it should.

Skull clutches was a McQueen signature accessories for some time, and the signal appears to continue this tradition with Alexander McQueen Union Jack Stud clutch. Skulls, studs and Anglophilia was all motifs embraced McQueen, though this bag is any indication, they’re not going anywhere in the forthcoming work of the brand.

Giles Puffball Bag

When Giles RTW Fall 2010 collection hit the runway, the clothes felt perfectly suited for Astronaut trophy wives. The line is one of the most wearable to date by Giles Deacon. And then there was a bag. A bag that has grabbed the attention of all around and somehow we did not cover up now.

I do not even know the actual name and I’m having difficulty in giving this bag a name, trying to stay sober but playful. So please welcome the Giles Puffball Bag with Cartoon Eyes. I can not even take much credit for the name I gave this bag because WWD has named similarly. But let’s look more closely.

How could I call this bag fugly when in fact it’s brilliant? Certainly not meant to be taken super-seriously, the bloated outer hair is adorned by two large googly-eyes that I love. No, I’m going to buy this bag, no, I’m going to wear, and no, I’m going to tell you all to buy it. But what I say is sometimes we all need to take life a bit ‘less serious and a little’ lighter. This is a design meant to be taken as a joke.

So why not start on Monday with a smile? That is what this gem from the fall 2010 Giles brings to my face, a big ole ’smile. Go ahead and tell us what you think in the comments section below!

A feeling of joy and the excitement just came over me when I realized that the next round of season sample sale is when Vlad and I live in New York. This means you should not post on these sales as I’m dying to go, but you can not, indeed, I can take you places-to-date style racked with photos and a play-by-play of the event.

A sample of sales is expected from members and PurseBlog PurseForum is Rebecca Minkoff’s. Because of its huge fan base PurseForum, Rebecca continues to open a night for VIP members. The lines from what I’ve heard are long, but the loot is good. There’s lots of sample sale inviting the VIPs for the night (all) and for the public (if you can not make VIP Night). Make sure you go on a PurseForum then chat with other Minkettes the sample sale madness!

Shopping Tote

I’m not a big fan of paying high prices for the bags are not leather, but after seeing the Yves Saint Laurent Large Shopping Tote, are unsure how long I’ll be able to continue my resistance to the concept.

When you’re a fan of designer handbags, the best thing is to find some personal cost boundaries to avoid being carried away. It ‘easy to become unresponsive when the most-sought-after bag in the world in high-cost four figures, but not every bag is what the manufacturer might want us to pay. Yves Saint Laurent Large Shopping Tote has positioned itself in an interesting point, though – the price just Might be low enough to pique my interest for such an attractive bag, even if not Entirely made of leather.

This bag has three things running very strong in its favor: first, is generous in size. I do not know anyone who need a larger bag for work (although I’m sure that are people who would), and this also could easily hold a laptop and books for a college student super-fashionable. Secondly, that color. It ‘wonderful. Adventures. Beautiful. Unique. I love it. It ’s probably more suitable for the autumn of summer, but it is never too early to start getting your wardrobe together for next season, now is it?

What helps this bag, perhaps most, however, is that, even at $ 700, is a relative steal for a brand like Yves Saint Laurent. When considering this bag, with its size very functional and beautiful shape and color scheme of the normal prices of the brand, which pays a lot for a leather bag does not appear to be a bit ‘more reasonable. Remember how I said that you should not have sucked money from desensitization? Well, yes, I just spoke to me immediately that the general theory. This bag is absolutely great. Buy through Saks for $ 695.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Miss Marc Packables Pouch

Any other day review should belong to PurseBlog Savvy, but today is right here. Why you ask? Why I love French Bulldogs. I love bulldogs in general (Vlad and I have a English bulldog sometimes in the near future, is our love). The small eccentric Miss Marc see all kinds of embarrassing the nylon Marc by Marc Jacobs Marc Miss Packables Pouch surrounded by his friends French Bulldog.

I would like to use this storage cupboard and throw it in my purse. Then I pull out this bag, and explain to everyone around me my love for the bulldog. Would reach the point of being so annoying that only Amanda and Vlad would listen (who both love bulldogs too). So perhaps I just want to buy this, and then when I blog all day that I can watch my hands and smile. The result of keeping you all in my bulldog-verbose-speech-loving path. The dimensions are 5 “WX 9″ HX ¼ “D and comes in pink and brown twig. Buy through Saks for $ 58 ..
